Whether your taking a last minute getaway, a long overdue vacation, traveling for work or leaving your vacation home for the winter,
Okanagan Concierge will make sure your property is well taken care of while you are away.

I can come in to your home and walk, feed and spend time with your pets; water your inside and outside plants; over see services. I can monitor your home for storm damage and ensure the heating/air conditioning and other appliances are functioning properly. I will contact you and with your permission, make the necessary arrangements to begin the repair process if needed.

I offer a variety of services which can be tailored to help with your home care needs.

I cannot prevent all things from happening. But it is my job to make a comprehensive visit and notice an irregular, or damaging, situation in the early stages before it can become a disaster or affect your Insurance Policy and/or Strata-Rules compliance.

After each visit I will send you an update by email and I will contact you right away if I notice any issues.

HOME WATCHING SERVICE - $30 per visit.

INSPECTION REPORTS: For your piece of mind a Home Watching report is emailed after each visit with photos if needed.

INSIDE
Thorough walk through of your home to check doors and windows are secured, locked, and verify no sign of illegal entrance has taken place.
Ensure alarm system is functioning properly (if applicable).
Visual inspection of interior walls and ceiling, under cabinets, toilets, and any appliances to ensure there are no signs of water leaks or mildew.
Inspect for gas leaks.
Confirm air condition or heating is running.
Periodically rotate lights and window coverings.
Run taps, swish and flush toilets.
Check appliances to ensure they are functioning (fridge, freezer, hot water tank, furnace etc).
Inspect home for signs of insects or rodents (deal with these accordingly).
Ensure systems are functioning properly after power outage and deal with spoiled food if needed.
Take out household garbage on applicable garbage day and return bins if required.

OUTSIDE
Ensure Landscaping Service is being performed as scheduled with by the owner.
Visually Inspect House, roof, gutters, and grounds for any unexpected damage.
Retrieve packages, newspapers, junk mail and leaflets.
Forward mail if requested.
If a pool or spa is present, check to make sure scheduled maintenance is being conducted as scheduled by the owner.
Complete a perimeter check of your property to confirm windows and doors are intact and no signs of tampering.
Start and move vehicles if requested.
Check exterior plumbing, hoses, and faucets.
Check for pests.
Check for any storm/weather damage.

CLOSING SERVICES: starting at $90.00
Empty perishables from fridge, empty and turn off ice-maker, close blinds, set a/c and humidistat to away settings, unplug electrical items, turn off water at house, unplug or turn off breaker to the water heater, shut off toilet valves, unplug washer and dryer and shut off water to washer, ensure trash removal and check security of doors and windows.

OPENING SERVICES: starting at $90.00
Turn on electric breakers, turn on main water, turn on water to washer, turn on hot water heater, plug in electrical items, adjust A/C and humidistat, open blinds, freshen toilets and turn on valves, change or freshen bedding.

EMERGENCY SERVICES: $50.00 per visit (only billed if called out)
If you would like Emergency Response Services, I will respond to alarm notification in as timely a fashion as scheduling permits. Service call charges include property inspection after alarm notification and rearming system. Will conduct thorough inspection of property and attempt to ascertain the cause for the alarm. Will liaise with emergency personnel if required.Owner will be notified if there are any visible signs of intrusion or damage, and will be sent an email report with photos. Available 24/7.

PRE-STORM & POST STORM INSPECTIONS: $35.00 (only billed if called out)
At your request we will check on your home pre-storm and post storm. If any outdoor furniture, grills etc. need to be moved inside or if you need us to perform any special requests for your property, you will be billed at an hourly rate of $25.00. Post-storm, we will inspect your property, look for visible signs of damage, take photos if necessary, and send a detailed report to owner.

MEET CONTRACTORS/SERVICES ON SITE: $35.00/hr (only billed if called out)

At your request I will meet contractors or services on site. Open and close the property and send a report if needed.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES AVAILABLE: $35.00/hr
Exterior plant watering (only, no inside inspection)
Pool and hot tub maintenance (facilitate)
Freshen up home – vacuum, dust, wash floors
Grocery Restock (plus the cost of groceries)
